ARCHBISHOP O’BRIEN’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF EPISCOPAL ORDINATION: On Sunday, June 24 2012, all parishioners are warmly invited to a special celebration of Archbishop O’Brien’s 25th Anniversary of Episcopal Ordination and his 5th Anniversary as Archbishop of Kingston. Mass will be celebrated at 3 pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral, followed by a reception
on the Cathedral lawn. In recognition of the Archbishop’s milestone anniversaries, this year’s collection for the Education of Seminarians will be taken up in his honour on the weekend of June 16/17. The proceeds of the collection will be presented to Archbishop O’Brien at the Anniversary Mass on June 24. Our generous support of this important collection will be a fitting tribute to the Archbishop’s tireless efforts to support our seminarians and encourage vocations to the priesthood.

A SPECIAL THANK-YOU to everyone who is giving freely of their time to beautify the church grounds. Many people have put in a lot of effort and hard work and continue to do so. The yard and flower beds look great!
