Join the Marian Movement of Priests and Fr. Francis Geremiah while he
conducts a Cenacle at the Church of the Good Thief, 743 King St. West,

Natural Family Planning.
Come for an introduction to the Billings Ovulation Method of Natural
Family Planning. Couples will be taught how to plan a pregnancy or
avoid a pregnancy using their naturally occurring signs of fertility
and infertility. Free sessions are held the third Monday of every month
at St. Paul the Apostle Parish at 7 pm (right side entrance). Next

ARCHBISHOP O’BRIEN’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF EPISCOPAL ORDINATION:
On Sunday, June 24 2012, all parishioners are warmly invited to a
special celebration of Archbishop O’Brien’s 25th
Anniversary of Episcopal Ordination and his 5th Anniversary as
Archbishop of Kingston. Mass will be celebrated at 3 pm at St.
Mary’s Cathedral, followed by a reception
on the Cathedral lawn. In recognition of the Archbishop’s
milestone anniversaries, this year’s collection for the Education
of Seminarians will be taken up in his honour on the weekend of June
16/17. The proceeds of the collection will be presented to Archbishop
O’Brien at the Anniversary Mass on June 24. Our generous support
of this important collection will be a fitting tribute to the
Archbishop’s tireless efforts to support our seminarians and
encourage vocations to the priesthood.
Friar Ed Debono’s 50th Anniversary of Ordination Celebration
will be held on Saturday, May 26 at the 4:30 pm Mass at St. John the
Apostle Church. Come and pray in thanksgiving for Father Ed’s
vocation to the priesthood. There will be a reception immediately
following in the parish hall.
Wolf Island Day Camp: open to
children 5 to 12 years. Cost of registration is $135.00 per child for a
one week session with a 10% discount for each additional week that a
child is registered. Camp begins the week of July 3 and ends August 10.
Activities include swimming, sports, games and crafts. Weekly trips
include: bowling, Buskers, Movie, Playtrium, Lazer Tag, Pirate
adventure in Mooney’s Bay and Grass Creek. To register visit

Campaign Life Coalition
will be holding a pro-life meeting on Tuesday, May 22 from 7 until 9 pm
at Our Lady of Lourdes Church hall on Days Road. We are pleased
that Mr. Jim Hughes, National President of CLC and Vice-President of
International Right to Life will be our guest speaker and will be able
to update us on pro-life/pro-family issues facing our country.

Electronic Waste Drop Off Fundraiser
– On Saturday, May 26 from 9 am to 2 pm, Brendar Environmental
Inc., will be teaming up with Regiopolis-Notre Dame students, Holy
Cross students and the Kingston community to host a free electronic
waste drop off. Brendar offers environmentally sound and efficient
disposal of electronic waste. All proceeds from the event will go to
the Tanzania Schools Project. This locally based charitable
organization provides scholarships and uniforms for students in
Tanzania who would otherwise not be able to attend school, helps
support schools in Tanzania by providing educational resources to
enhance student education and arranges teacher volunteers to visit
Tanzania to teach and exchange professional knowledge with local
teachers. Both Catholic high schools will be drop off sites.
