FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT Today, as we enter the Advent season, preparation is the key. The countdown to Christmas should be a time to end grudges, rivalries, family feuds, office politics. We should do some serious soul-searching to identify the obstacles that prevent us from being closer to God. Advent is the time to renew our awareness of the call of the Holy Spirit in our lives. If we are unprepared, the good news is that it is never too late to change course. Let us be vigilant and prepare to celebrate the birth of the Light of the world!
