Affording even the bare necessities required to live in our Western and modern society demands individuals to seek employment: either working for someone else in a specialized field, or going into business for ourselves.   God wants to bless us with more than the basic requirements of survival, but what he asks us from us is flexibility, fairness, and generosity.  We are not to exploit His good and holy gifts.  “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all these things shall be added unto you.”
