Today we celebrate the birthday of the Church.  Jesus gave us a mission to live a personal relationship with  Him and to share His life with others.  Paul tells us that to do this we have to avoid behaviours that hurt others.  He reminds us to live our call with ‘love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control”.

Novena to the Blessed Virgin Mary will be every Thursday at 2 pm for nine consecutive Thursdays in St. Joseph’s Room.  We will pray for special intentions.  Everyone is welcome.  Refreshments.

Parish Prayer Network each day over 50 parishioners pray for you.  They are our Parish Prayer Network.  They also pray for people in need & for special intentions.  If you would like to join the Prayer Network, or if you have an intention for the Prayer Network please call 546-0418.

Seniors’ Bridge will take place again this summer, organized by Lois Halligan with her helpers, Helen Payne & Margaret Carey.  The dates are: July 5, 19 Aug 2, 16. They begin at 11:30 am in St Joseph’s Room.  A delicious lunch is served.  If any parishioners would like to assist, please call Lois Halligan - 548-3168.

Usually in the Fall & Winter Tuesday evenings our parish has some sort of faith program: “ALPHA”; “Knowing God Better”; Bible Study etc.  We start again in September.  Let Father Shea know is you are interested.
