3rd Sunday of Easter

The disciples discover through reflection on Scripture and in breaking bread, that their pain and confusion have meaning.
Their hearts are brought back to life and they are ready to face their life ahead.
Similarly, when we gather for the Eucharist, reflecting on Scripture and breaking bread together,
we bring our wounded hearts with us, eager for the life-giving fire of the Word of God.

Military Families Invitations are being sent to Parish military families with loved ones in Iraq and Afghanistan. There will be a very special evening on Saturday, May 3rd. New Life Group Meeting a Catholic Ministry for the Separated and Divorced will have a meeting Tuesday, April 15th from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the Diocesan Centre. The topic will be “New Beginnings for Codependents” . All faith denominations welcome.

Fostering the Faith Growth of Youth through Justice and Service course will be offered on Friday, April 11th at the Diocesan Centre and Saturday, April 12th at the Sisters of Providence Motherhouse - Kingston. The course will explore the theological and scriptural foundations for engaging young people in the work of justice and service. The facilitator will be Andrew Bartley from London. Social justice workshop for parishioners “Strangers No Longer” -This will be a fascinating event on Saturday, April 26th at the Sisters of Providence Motherhouse in Kingston.
