Nativity of John the Baptist
In every age there is a need for prophets to speak for God in the various situations of life.
Everyone’s life is designed for the special purpose of being a voice for God.

Bulletins: There will only be one bulletin for July and one for August.  Please be sure to check the bulletin board for special events.

Office Hours: The parish office will be closed on Thursday, June 28th and on Fridays during the months of July and August.

Knights of Columbus Seminarian Appreciation Dinner Sunday, August 12th will be hosted by St. Paul the Apostle Council 9652. Tickets priced at $25.00 per person. The venue this year will be Our Lady of Fatima Church on Division St. Kingston. Celebration of Mass at 4 pm – following Mass there will be a social at 5:15 pm and dinner at 6 pm in the adjacent Portuguese Hall.  Please order your tickets in advance. ARCHBISHOP O’BRIEN’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF EPISCOPAL ORDINATION: On Sunday, June 24 2012, all parishioners are warmly invited to a special celebration of Archbishop O’Brien’s 25th Anniversary of Episcopal Ordination and his 5th Anniversary as Archbishop of Kingston. Mass will be celebrated at 3 pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral, followed by a reception
on the Cathedral lawn.

Bereaved Families of Ontario
: Mourning Coffee – Come in for coffee, tea, water or juice and some informal chat with other bereaved individuals.- Tues., June 26 at 721 Progress Ave., Unit #1 from 10 to 11 am.

Pilgrimage to the Shrine of St. Ann in Cormac Ontario: with Archbishop Terrence Prendergast and Bishop Michael Mulhall. July 26th to 29th. After the Sunday Mass, an anointing of the sick with St. Ann’s Oil will be offered.  See the bulletin board for more info.

Wolfe Island Day Camp: open to children 5 to 12 years. Cost of registration is $135.00 per child for a one week session with a 10% discount for each additional week that a child is registered.
