3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Deep down we know that we are not yet the people God is calling us to be.
Jonah’s message holds out hope for all of us.
If the pagan people of Nineveh could place their faith in the preaching of a Jewish prophet,
surely we can be as generous to Christ who died to save us.

World Youth Day 2013 – Brazil
St. Mark’s (Prescott) has organized a 12 day pilgrimage to Rio and surrounding area from July 20 – 31, 2013 and is looking for pilgrims from the diocese who may wish to share the experience. If you are interested please call Tony 613-925-5133 or email ditone@cogeco.ca.

Eucharistic Congress in Ireland – there are some places available if you would like to join our archdiocesan pilgrimage.

3rd annual “St. Patrick’s Day Social
Presented by Holy Name Parish in association with Rideau Acres with performances by IRISH ROOTS.  Sunday, March 18th The 10:30 Mass and 12:00 Mass will be combined into one 11: am Mass. Immediately following there will be food, fun, fellowship, entertainment and activities for kids of all ages. Tickets will be available after all Masses beginning Jan. 28th or in the Parish Office. $10 single/$20 family.
