2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time
It is important to have a peaceful corner to develop pockets of silence,
where we can be alone to listen to the voice of God calling us and directing us along his pathway.
God can only speak to a person who is listening.

Volunteers Needed!
- If you would be interested in leading a parish youth group, being a Children’s liturgy leader for our 10:30 Mass or coordinating hospitality after 10:30 Mass please call Christine at the parish office.

Pancake Breakfast: sponsored by the Knights of Columbus on Sunday, February 19th after all three Masses.  Breakfast will be available in St. Joseph’s Room and donations will be gratefully accepted.

Receiving Communion from the Chalice:
Our Archdiocese requires that children who wish to receive the blood of Christ be at least Confirmation age. If you want your child to receive from the chalice please talk to Father Wes.

World Youth Day 2013 – Brazil
St. Mark’s (Prescott) has organized a 12 day pilgrimage to Rio and surrounding area from July 20 – 31, 2013 and is looking for pilgrims from the diocese who may wish to share the experience. If you are interested please call Tony 613-925-5133 or email ditone@cogeco.ca.

Eucharistic Congress in Ireland – there are some places available if you would like to join our archdiocesan pilgrimage.
Option 1 – A tour of the republic of Ireland June 2-9, 2012 and Eucharistic Congress in Dublin, Ireland, June 10-17. Return home June 18.  The cost is $4067 based on double occupancy and includes air fare.

New Life Group: a Catholic Ministry for the Separated and Divorced will meet on Tuesday, January 17 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at Diocesan Centre on Palace Rd. Topic: After Loss: One Foot Ahead of the Other. Speaker: Rev. Elaine Smith.

Bereaved Families of Ontario is launching a new sharing evening on Wednesday, January 18 at 6:30 pm - 721 Progress Ave. Unit #1.
 The baby loss sharing evening is open to mothers who have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth or death of a baby up to age 1.
Family Night: A support evening open to any adult who has lost a loved one – Tuesday, January 17th at 7:30 pm – Open Discussion.

Marriage Encounter Weekend:
A Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend is scheduled for March 2-4, 2012 at the McIntosh Country Inn & Conference Centre, Morrisburg.
