4th Sunday in Advent
The moment Mary said yes to the Angel Gabriel,
salvation dawned for mankind and she brought that salvation to birth at Bethlehem on the first Christmas Day.
Mary is the model of listening and waiting for the Lord to come.
We can ask Mary to help us be as ready and willing to bring Christ into our world as she was.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

As we prepare to celebrate this wonderful time of year let us take a moment to remember just what Christmas is all about. Two thousand and eleven years ago a man and his wife who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit to give birth to a child were on a long journey going back to his place of birth, the town of Bethlehem. After arriving they could not find a room for her to bear her child – only a stable and it was here that Our Blessed Mary gave birth to a son “Jesus Christ”. At this time of year let us remember to “Keep Christ in Christmas”

From District Wardens Danny Lewis and Dave Gilhen and District Deputy Dennis Keefe and their families.
