At this celebration the Archdiocese will recognize the 150 years of ministry of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul in our community. A social will follow at Ècole Cathédrale.

Taking Care of our Environment
It isn’t too early to start thinking ahead about Church “Greening” activities. A tree planting ceremony can be a beautiful way to celebrate a baptism to honour the new life of resurrection. If you decide to do a tree planting in your community or at your house, think about planting trees that lose their leaves in winter next to the south side of your building in order to save on heating and cooling costs. In the summer the leaves will provide shade from direct hot sunlight and in the winter the lack of leaves will allow the light to pass through to get that extra bit of heating.

New Life Group:  a Catholic Ministry for the Separated and Divorced will meet on Tuesday Dec . 6 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at Diocesan Centre. Topic: Preparing/Adjusting to the Holiday Season.
