Pentecost
With this feast we celebrate the birthday of the church.
The Holy Spirit descended on the apostles and gave them courage to fearlessly preach the word of God to friend and foe.
Our starting point for accepting the gift of the Holy Spirit is to increase our prayer life.
By praying we can discover our special talents and our particular role to play in the mission of the Church.

Summer Masses:  All Masses will be at the church again this summer to give set up crews a well deserved break! From July 1st to August 31st the

Joke
One Sunday in a Midwest city a young child was "acting up" during the morning worship hour.
The parents did their best to maintain some sense of order in the pew but were losing the battle.
Finally the father picked the little fellow up and walked sternly up the aisle on his way out.
Just before leaving the safety of the foyer the little one called loudly to the congregation,
"Pray for me! Pray for me!"
