4th Sunday of Easter
In describing himself as the Good Shepherd,
Jesus is painting a beautiful picture of his loving care for the human family while emphasising how precious we are in the eyes of God.
The compassion of Jesus comes to people through hearts that are full of tenderness and love.
Christ is dependent on you and me to be shepherds of his flock in a caring and loving service of others.

Prayers of the Faithful
Parish Council has determined that members of the parish may request to have relatives and family members or other parishioners who have given their permission to be included in the public prayers of the faithful.  When your prayers have been supplied for and the person of concern has improved, please phone to have the name removed from the list. There is also a private prayer list co-ordinated by the parish secretary where people may be mentioned regardless of their connections.  This is to ensure privacy for those who are ill and to maintain a list that is connected to all parishioners.

Joke
One summer evening a mother was driving with her three small children.
A woman in the convertible in front of them stood up and waved.
She didn’t have a stitch of clothing on!
As the mother was reeling from shock, the five year old said.
“Mommy, that lady doesn’t have her seatbelt on.
