5th Sunday of Easter
This gospel is an invitation to look into our hearts and see how we are answering God’s call to love in our lives and within our families.
It is easy to love those who are kind and loving towards us but Christian love calls us to do more than this.
No one can be excluded from our loving.
This requires much patience and a lifetime of work and conversion.

Joke
Driving my car one afternoon, I rolled through a stop sign.
I was pulled over by a police officer, who recognized me as his former English teacher.
“Mrs. Brown,” he said, “those stop signs are periods, not commas.”
