3rd Sunday in Lent
Often it is not what we do wrong but the things we leave undone which prevent us from growing in the love of Christ.
We are all guilty of sins of omission and neglect.
Each one of us needs to make a better effort in caring, sharing, loving and being available to our neighbor.

Monsignor Raby House: Last fall it became apparent that we could no longer operate as a house of lodging due to lack of liability insurance for those not in religious formation.  At that time I requested names of individuals who would help in defining the uses of Msgr. Raby House. To date I received no offer of assistance. Recently I have been approached by several people seeking to use this facility and until we have people in place that can set up guidelines and seek approval from the Archdiocese on use of Msgr. Raby House we are unable to move forward.

Thank you for praying for our armed forces.  Please continue to pray for those now serving in foreign lands: David Hannon & Robert Olivier.

Sale of Art from the Holy Land: The main income for the Christian community of Bethlehem – The Birth Place of Jesus- is selling their hand crafted olive wood religious items to the pilgrims who visit the area. The past few years have been extremely hard for the community as a result of declining tourism. Some Christians responded by fleeing the Holy Land, and the absence of a living Christian community is very dangerous for the Holy Sites such as the Church of the Nativity.  On March 6th & 7th we will be having some of their beautiful art held for sale in an effort to strengthen the Christian presence in the Holy Land. This sale will take place in the Church and School entryways after Masses on March 6th & 7th.  The Archdiocese of Kingston supports this initiative. Holy Land Wood Art – Jean 289-997-3215.

Joke
A vampire bat comes back to his fellow vampire bats with blood on his mouth.
They stare at him jealously and ask him where he got the blood.
He asks them, “Did you see that tree back there?”  “Sure,” they reply.
“Well I Didn’t”
