Sale of Art from the Holy Land:
The main income for the Christian community of Bethlehem – The
Birth Place of Jesus- is selling their hand crafted olive wood
religious items to the pilgrims who visit the area. The past few years
have been extremely hard for the community as a result of declining
tourism. Some Christians responded by fleeing the Holy Land, and the
absence of a living Christian community is very dangerous for the Holy
Sites such as the Church of the Nativity. On March 6th & 7th
we will be having some of their beautiful art held for sale in an
effort to strengthen the Christian presence in the Holy Land. This sale
will take place in the Church and School entryways after Masses on
March 6th & 7th. The Archdiocese of Kingston supports this
initiative.

Joke
A young woman was taking an afternoon nap.
After she woke up, she told her Husband,
“I just dreamed that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine’s Day.
What do you think it means?”
“You’ll know tonight, “ he said.
That evening, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife.
Delighted, she opened it—only to find a book entitled
“The Meaning of Dreams”.
