The gospel tells us that any person of goodwill doing their best to follow Christ’s footsteps graces the world.
Every good deed contributes towards the battle against evil.
All good comes from God the Father and God’s action has no limits.

Bishop’s Collection for Needs of the Church in Canada:  Today, a special collection is held in parish communities across the country to support the pastoral work of the Bishops nationally and internationally.  Known as the Bishops Collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada, this collection helps the dioceses pay their annual contribution to the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops .
Founded more than 65 years ago, the CCCB is the assembly of all the Bishops of Canada, including those of the Eastern Catholic Churches.  In addition to assisting in consultations with the Holy Father and the various departments of the Holy See, the CCCB works in close partnership with other Episcopal Conferences around the world, and in particular with those in the Americas.  Through the work of its commissions and committees, it is involved in the issues that affect the life of the Church today and shape society.
The Bishops of Canada would like to thank you in advance for your generosity.

Human Trafficking Workshop at St. Paul the Apostle Parish: Did you know that Human Trafficking is the fastest growing illegal enterprise in the world? It creates billions of dollars of profit for the criminals who engage in it every year. It is estimated that there are over 27 million trafficked people around the globe and every year thousands are added to their number.  In Canada alone, 800 – 1200 people are trafficked annually.  Learn more about human trafficking and what you can do to stop it.  Tuesday, September 29 at 7 pm. Joke
Miss Jones had been giving her second-grade students a lesson on science.
She had explained about magnets and showed they would pick up nails and other bits of iron.
Now, it was question time and she asked,
“My name starts with the letter ‘M’ and I pick up things.
What am I?”
A little boy in the front row said, “You’re a Mother.”
