6th  Sunday of Easter
In today’s Gospel Jesus says that obeying His commands is a mark of friendship, not servitude.
Jesus’ commands are not a series of restrictions or regulations to be mindlessly followed,
but rather one guiding principle that requires deep thought and reflection.
“Love one another as I have loved you.”

Welcome and Thank-You to Fr. Savoie, who is celebrating Mass with us this weekend!

Joke
My sister has the courage, but not always the skills to tackle any home-repair project.
For example, in her garage are pieces of a lawnmower she once tried to fix
So I wasn’t surprised the day my other sister, Dianne, and I found our sister attacking her vacuum cleaner with a screwdriver.
“I can’t get this thing to cooperate,” she explained when she saw us.
Diane suggested, “Why don’t you drag it out to the garage and show it the lawnmower?”
