27th Sunday in Ordinary Time
A sense of entitlement dulls a person’s ability to feel thankful.
If one believes that he/she deserves everything they get or want there is no room for gratitude.
Our weekly Sunday Eucharist trains us in this attitude of gratefulness.
Thanksgiving is at the heart of our Sunday gathering as we pray “It is right to give God thanks and praise”

October is the Month of the Rosary

In protecting the air we breathe and the water we consume, we promote the common good.  Let us urge our political candidates to enforce and strengthen national policies that ensure the protection of our environment and the natural resources that are God’s gift to us.  We need to develop public policies that guarantee clean, efficient, and renewable energy sources, better public transit, and clear strategies for reversing global warming.

when Bobby interrupted.
“My mommy looked back once while she was driving,” he announced.
“And she turned into a telephone pole.”
