4th  SUNDAY OF ADVENT

David had a close relationship with God.  He tried to please God and help the Jewish people to worship the one, true God and turn away from false idols.  Mary our Mother also had a close relationship with God.  When greeted by Gabriel she was ready to do God’s will.  Advent is the time to prepare our hearts in prayer to do God’s will now and throughout the coming year.
