Third Sunday in Advent- December 17, 2006
‘Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say , Rejoice.’  The time is quickly approaching for Jesus’s birthday.  We should be filled with joy knowing that He is near us, loves us, and wants to part of our lives.  We need to take this time to show Our Lord that we are looking forward to Christmas by offering gifts to Him- gifts of  work well done and acts of kindness towards those around us.

Statue of Mary (Please leave in the entrance after the Mass you attend - for the next family)
The week of Dec. 17th prayers will be offered in the home of Madeline Halladay.
The week of Dec. 24th prayers will be offered in the home of Sylvia Kerr.

Help us to feed the hungry.

Deborah Lefebvre, is in Uganda to work in a medical clinic and to further the “Buy-A-Net” program.  Distribution of mosquito nets to families helps them avoid malaria.  Some celebrities have followed the lead of “Buy-A-Net” by starting “Spread the Net”.  “Buy-A-Net” is our preferred way to help.
Parish Teenager Michelle-Marie Jobin is with Deborah.  Pray for them.

Prayer for Vocations
O God, who has chosen the Apostles to propagate the faith & to establish Your Holy Church, throughout the world, we earnestly beseech You to choose from amongst our people many priests deacons, religious brothers & sisters and lay persons who will gladly devote their entire lives in making you known & loved by all.  Through the intercession of our Blessed Lady, we ask this through Christ our Lord.   Amen
