THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT
December 12,  2004
 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Can we make Jesus real for our children, a true presence in the world around us and alive in our own hearts this Advent?  Do we live in joyous expectation of His coming by seeking justice for the oppressed?   Do we patiently anticipate His return by giving bread to the hungry and upholding the widow and orphan?  The prophet Isaiah urges us to take heart, weary and feeble as we are when confronted by a world that denies the Lord.  Whatever the obstacles, it is our duty to make Jesus real this Advent.
