Second Sunday in Advent- December 10, 2006
St. John the Baptist reminds us to “Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.” At this point in Advent we need to remove the things that hinder us from receiving Jesus with joy.  We need to make a thorough examination of conscience and make time for the sacrament of reconciliation before Christmas.

Bible Study - Tuesday Dec. 12, 7:30 pm in St. Joseph’s room. Chapter 14,15, & 16

This week parishioner, Deborah Lefebvre, is in Uganda to work in a medical clinic and to further the “Buy-A-Net” program.  Distribution of mosquito nets to families helps them avoid malaria.  Some celebrities have followed the lead of “Buy-A-Net” by starting “Spread the Net”.  “Buy-A-Net” is our preferred way to help.  Parish Teenager Michelle-Marie Jobin is with Deborah.  Pray for them.
