30th  SUNDAY in ORDINARY TIME
October   24,  2004
 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Today Catholics around the globe celebrate World Mission Sunday.  Our thoughts are directed to the men and women of faith, near and far, who bring life to the gospel message.  What payment do missionaries anticipate?  They expect nothing, but receive everything.  As Paul writes, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and save me for His heavenly kingdom.  It is all for the kingdom.
