30th Sunday In Ordinary Time - October 23rd  2005
World Mission Sunday calls us to put our love of God and neighbour into practice.  By giving to the poor and needy, near and far, and by respecting all God’s creation --animals, birds, water, resources, etc, we are keeping our covenant with God.   Jesus’ message in today’s Gospel is for all of us: “To love God with all our heart, soul and mind.

Winter is coming!  An easy and great way to teach your children about Christian ministry is to have them choose a non-perishable food item from your cupboard or at the store, and let them “deliver” it to the back of the church weekly.  Parish volunteers deliver food donations week

her helpers: Helen Payne, Margaret Carey, Nelda Belanger, Jack Boyle and all the ladies who provide the refreshments.  Over $1100. was raised for the Parish.  Thank you everyone

VOCATION VIEW
If you exalt yourself, what do you leave for God to give you?
Rather, listen to God’s voice.
Doing His will is all you need to do.

Prayer For Vocations

O God, who has chosen the Apostles to propagate the faith & to establish Your Holy Church throughout the world, we earnestly beseech You to choose from amongst our people many priests, deacons, religious brothers & sisters and lay persons who will gladly devote their entire lives in making YOU known & loved by all. Through the intercession of Our Blessed Lady, we ask this through Christ our Lord.   Amen.
