29th Sunday In Ordinary Time - October 16th, 2005

“Is it lawful to pay taxes to the emperor, or not?”  Jesus answers this without offending anyone- obeying civil law does not contradict God’s laws. Remember always that governments are changeable but the Lord does not change - by being respecting God’s kingdom here on earth, we will be faithful to our baptismal duties & honour Jesus’ call to discipleship.

VOCATION VIEW
Even as a child you knew the importance of asking often for something you really wanted.
Now again, in an adult way, ask God to show you His will.
But, be ready to do it!

Prayer For Vocations

O God, who has chosen the Apostles to propagate the faith & to establish Your Holy Church throughout the world, we earnestly beseech You to choose from amongst our people many priests, deacons, religious brothers & sisters and lay persons who will gladly devote their entire lives in making YOU known & loved by all
