Prayer for Vocations
O God, who has chosen the Apostles to propagate the faith & to establish Your Holy Church, throughout the world, we earnestly beseech You to choose from amongst our people many priests deacons, religious brothers & sisters and lay persons who will gladly devote their entire lives in making you known & loved by all.  Through the intercession of our Blessed Lady, we ask this through Christ our Lord.

JOKE
An adventurous soul entered a rodeo to see what it would be like.
He signed up for the bareback event but was thrown off the horse, knocked cold, and rushed to the neurosurgery unit of the hospital.
“How do you feel?”  asked a friend visiting him the next day.
“Not so bad,” the injured rider answered. “At least I fulfilled a lifelong ambition of my father’s.”
“Oh, did he want you to ride in the rodeo?”  “No, but he always wanted me to have my head examined.”
