Every week you are asked to try to bring food items when you come to Mass.  The St. Vincent de Paul Society is in constant need of food to give to poor families. Bereaved Families of Ontario will hold their monthly Mother’s Night on Tuesday, June 12th at 7:30 p.m., 721 Progress Avenue.  The facilitator is Heather Johnston and the topic is “Coping with the Missing and Lonliness”.  Mothers who have lost a child through death are welcome to attend and share their feelings and concerns with others who have experienced a similar loss.

Father Charles “Chuck” Gazely will retire from active ministry in his fiftieth year of ordination to the ministerial priesthood at the end of June 2007.  A retirement celebration will be held at Holy Family Parish, 200 Weller Avenue, Kingston, on Sunday, June 24th, 2007.  A Mass of thanksgiving will take place at 2:00pm, followed by a reception at 3:30 p.m. and a BBQ at 4:00p.m.  All are welcome.
