After years the Israelites entered the promised land and they began to eat the produce of the land instead of the manna.  The prodigal son returned to his father and ate the fatted calf.  There is always a celebration when we find our way and come to God our Father.  He will continually fill us with grace which will bring much joy in our lives.

Some people have been asking about the Parish Directory.  It has been a frustrating experience.  The latest problem is that our photos are lost in cyber space somewhere.  It looks like our Parish Directory will not be published.  Money will be returned to our advertisers soon.

As you know Parishioner Dr. Karen Yeates is now in Africa with her husband, Roman, and their children, Jack and Hannah.  If you want to keep track of her work and their adventures there, they have a blog on the internet: sunoverkili.blogspot.com  Also, Roman and Karen ask for your prayers, especially to successfully adopt an African child.

JOKE
One day, a little girl is sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink.  She suddenly notices that her mother has several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.  She looks at her mother and inquisitively asks, “Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?”  Her mother replied,”Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.”  The little girl thought about this revelation for a while, and then said,”So Momma, how come ALL of grandma’s hairs are white?”
