Joke
Timmy was a five year old boy and refused to let his mother walk him to kindergarten every day.
Timmy’s mom, however worried about her little boy and asked her neighbour, Mrs. Goodnest  if she would follow him to school  at a distance behind so he wouldn’t notice.
Mrs. Goodnest agreed as it would be good exercise for her and her toddler, Marcy.
She followed Timmy for the whole week and one of Timmy’s friends caught on.
When he asked Timmy if he noticed that a lady was following him,
Timmy replied nonchalantly “yes, that’s just Shirley Goodnest.”
Timmy’s friend asked why she was following them.
“Well,” Timmy explained, “every night my mom makes me say the 23rd psalm with my prayers cuz she worries about me so much and it says,
‘Shirley Goodnest and Marcy shall follow me all the days of my life.’
So I guess I’ll just have to get used to it.”
