27th  SUNDAY in ORDINARY TIME
October   3, 2004
Our Lord is depicted in art as the all-powerful ruler of everything in the universe which He created.  Another way to think of God making this  universe - so that he could be the servant: God, ever patient, ever attentive, eternally serving all He has made.. Jesus came not as a ruler or master - born in poverty He submitted to the injustice of the cross - He served the vulnerable & suffering world.  Discipleship means becoming like our master- serving one another and Christ.-                                                                        ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
